Tzav Pius works to bridge the divides in Jewish Israeli society through increased communication, education, and a strong commitment to Jewish and democratic values, thus encouraging social and educational changes.
Tzav Pius is for anyone who envisions a worldwide Jewish community which is pluralistic and tolerant. We are working with and for tens of thousands of students, members of our joint camps and their parents, our football team participants, educators, local authority figures, policy makers, and public opinion leaders.
No, Tzav Pius is not a political organization and has never been affiliated with any political party or agenda. Our members come from religious, secular, left and right wing backgrounds. We were established by the Avi Chai organization in 1996 and in 2013 became an independent NGO focused on social change.
During the last 20 years Tzav Pius has cultivated a relationship between the various groups which Jewish society is composed of. We work to bridge the divides between the various sectors and create dialogue and cooperation in all areas of life while at the same time maintaining the unique identities of each group.
Tzav Pius works to develop an Israeli society in which Jews of differing perceptions along the secular-orthodox spectrum, share a strong commitment to Jewish and democratic values, thus encouraging social and educational changes.
